EduTech Support & Resources

The Government of Ontario and CUPE union have been unable to reach a deal and has caused the negotiation to escalate to an indefinite "Protest" by the CUPE union. This protest has lead many if not all school boards to close to in-person learning for the safety of the students. Now these students will be required to learn virtually until the Government and CUPE can negotiate a return. I myself am a teacher and will not get into the "rightness" of what is happening, but I do understand that this will be a turbulent time for students once again. I offer my time as a virtual tutor to help maintain and close any learning gaps during this time. Please reach out if you feel the need to support your students education with tutoring.

The goal of EduTech Support and Resources is to provide time to: explore their learning material, ask questions to gain insight, have someone to work with through content, and more. Please feel free to reach out and contact me and discuss your needs and if I can provide any support.

These virtual sessions are student focused and include follow ups to monitor progress.

These virtual sessions are flexible and allow for personalized learning experiences.

Teacher support sessions are great for learning new software, creating resources or brainstorming new lessons.

My specialty is the sciences and my experience lies with Grade 9-12 students. I am qualified to teach math at the Grade 7-10 level, but I also know the math curriculums from Grades 1-10.

I am capable of tutoring students in any subject in grades 1-10. I have had experience working with teachers from all subject areas within all curriculums (I will recommend, that for musical/artistic support it would be more beneficial to seek out an individual with musical/artistic qualifications). In these grades it is really important to develop good learning skills so that in the future any material can be learned and used in any given scenario.

When it comes to Grade 11-12 I like to stick within my specialty area of science so that they students receive the highest quality of support. By now students should have a good base of learning skills and need to focus on the material in order to decide their future path. If you are looking for support in subjects outside of science for Grade 11-12 I do have the ability to refer you to other tutor support individuals so that you can get your needs met.

In terms of adult learners I am very capable of supporting adults in their quest for knowledge. My flexible scheduling also allows adults to get support when they are free to focus.

I have experience working with teachers from all subject areas, creating resources, updating resources, learning new software, and brainstorming new lesson ideas. Sometimes all it takes is to sit with another colleague and share ideas in order to find one that works!
